1. Purpose
The purpose of this contest is to celebrate families across America and to gift a portrait experience that honors family legacy through heirloom artwork for the winner’s parent(s)


2. Sponsor
This contest is sponsored by Joshua J. Jimmink (“Sponsor”), a portrait artist based in Texas.


3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, immediate family members, and household members of the Sponsor are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.


4. Entry Period
Begins March 10, 2026 at 8:00am CDT
Ends March 24, 2026 at 5:00pm CDT
Entries received outside this period will not be considered.


5. How to Enter
- To enter, complete and submit the entry form above with your story and what you want to celebrate through timeless artwork.

- Entries will not be judged on grammar, eloquence, or writing skill, but on the meaning and impact of the story shared.

- Limit one (1) entry per person/household.


6. Judging & Winner Selection
This is a contest. Winners are not selected at random.

Five (5) winners will be selected based on the following criteria:

- Depth of Story
The meaningfulness, uniqueness, or lasting impact of the family story shared.

- Heart & Authenticity –
The sincerity and genuine connection expressed in the entry.

- Legacy & Generational Meaning –
The significance of preserving this season through tangible artwork designed to be displayed and passed down.

- Alignment with the Heirloom Portrait Experience –
Demonstrated appreciation for thoughtfully crafted, printed artwork and the desire to create a lasting family keepsake.

All entries will be evaluated by Joshua J. Jimmink.

In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score in “Depth of Story” will be selected.

Winners will be notified on March 24th, 2026 after 5:00pm CDT.


7. Prize Description
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $1,500
Each winner will receive:

- Waived $700 Session Fee

- Up to three (3) digital images printable up to 8x12 (approximate value $300)

- $500 Wall Art Credit

The wall art credit: Has no cash value, is non-transferable, must be used during 2026, and may only be applied toward physical wall art products

While optional, most families who fall in love with their portraits choose to create custom heirloom artwork for their homes. Current wall art offerings start at $3,000.

Travel fees are waived if the session is scheduled during the Sponsor’s planned travel window in the winner’s area. If outside that window, the winner may choose to pay a travel fee.

8. Prize Claim
Winners must complete a brief phone call within five (5) days of notification to confirm eligibility, ensure the experience is a good fit for all parties, and claim the prize. Failure to respond may result in forfeiture. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, declines the prize, or fails to respond within five (5) days, Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
Portrait planning meeting and session must be completed in 2026.
Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

9. Publicity & Model Release
By accepting the prize, winners grant Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and images created during the session for promotional purposes, including online and print marketing, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates these rules or is deemed inappropriate. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the contest if necessary due to fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond reasonable control. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and confirm information provided prior to awarding any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that contain false information, violate any law, or infringe upon the rights of any third party.
